Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes 
By the end of the course the student will be able to: 
i. Present effectively design ideas using both hand generated graphics and advanced computer techniques.  
 
ii. Produce part programmes to simulate / manufacture components using CAD-CAM technology. 
 
iii. Demonstrate structured approaches to product design planning. 
 
iv. Employ a range of practical manufacturing processes and techniques safely and confidently |
