Course descriptionFirst semester. This course is designed for students who already have significant knowledge of Spanish.
Entry Requirements (not applicable to Visiting Students)

Prohibited Combinations Other requirements A pass at 50% or above in Introductory Spanish or Spanish at Standard Grade or equivalent evidence of proficiency. No students on programmes owned by DELC will be admitted.
Additional Costs A coursebook, !Hablemos Espanol!, and a dictionary

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Following Introductory Spanish, this course will further develop your knowledge of the language in a wide variety of situations using more complex vocabulary and grammar.
Assessment Information
Regular written exercises in class and two class tests (weeks 4 and 8), worth 40% and a degree exam worth 60%.
Special Arrangements
This course is open to all students. DELC students may only take this course if it over and above their full credit load, as in a non credit bearing course.
