Course descriptionAdvanced language work reinforcing and developing knowledge of, and proficiency in, Italian syntax, vocabulary and register. Oral skills and text-reading techniques are particularly stressed.

Pre-requisites Students MUST have passed: Italian 1 (ELCI08001)
Co-requisites Students MUST also take: Italian Literature: Texts in Context 2 (ELCI08005)

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course students will be expected to show the ability:
- to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the chosen specialism
- to recognise and acknowledge the complexity of the subject

- to construct coherent arguments which demonstrate an awareness of the problems posed by the texts/ issues studied
