Course descriptionSelected topics in Commercial Law. Material will be chosen from such areas as insolvency rights in security, credit transfers, international trade, banking law, partnership. Company Law is excluded (except in so far as relevant to topics otherwise under consideration).

Pre-requisites Students MUST have passed: Business Law (LAWS08058) OR ( Business Entities (LAWS08099) AND Commercial Law Ordinary (LAWS08095))

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course students will have:
&· A detailed knowledge and understanding of important aspects of Scottish commercial law;
&· Experience in critical analysis of issues and oral and written communication of the results of the analysis;
&· Experience in working on your own, research and reading and understanding texts on the subject
