Course descriptionStudents carry out original research on an approved 12-week project in a neuroscience laboratory. It is permissible for this to be an extension of the same project and/or in the same laboratory as Research Training I.

Entry Requirements (not applicable to Visiting Students)
Pre-requisites It is RECOMMENDED that students have passed Review of Neuroscience (NEBM11001) AND Research Training I (Neuroscience) (NEBM11004) AND Presenting Neuroscience Research Data (NEBM11005)

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To acquire skills in design of experiments and in methods and techniques in neuroscience research; To become fluent with good laboratory practice; To make appropriate quantitative and/or statistical analysis of neuroscience data; To analyse and present the neuroscientific content of published research or conference proceedings.
