Course description | The course provides an introduction to sociological aspects of health and illness, health promotion and the organisation of health and social care. It addresses contemporary issues in the organisation of health and social care in order to convey an understanding of the various contexts in which health and social care may be provided. It provides the foundation knowledge of health and social care systems health promotion and lay/professional perspectives of health and illness. |
