Course descriptionEach student will conduct an individual project on a subject chosen in consultation with the programme director and a prospective supervisor. It may take the form of a scientific experiment, a literature review, a management plan or any other exercise approved by the programme director.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The opportunity to research in some depth a topic of the student's own choosing and submitting a dissertation not exceeding 30,000 words.
The opportunity to develop useful research training with the possibility of publishing a research paper in appropriate journals.
The opportunity to develop links with research projects in collaboration with other institutions, thus broadening the scope for career development.
