Course descriptionPhilosophy of Psychology: This course will provide a broad overview over the relatively young discipline of the philosophy of psychology. Issues discussed will include topics such as the nature of folk psychology, the architecture of the mind, whether infants and animals can think, and the role of language in thought

Pre-requisites Students MUST have passed: Knowledge and Reality (PHIL08017) AND Mind, Matter and Language (PHIL08014)

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To develop further the philosophical skills, and to extend as well as deepen the philosophical knowledge, acquired in previous philosophy courses.

This course will be assessed through a weekly participation grade (20%) and a final essay of 2,500 (80%).
