Course description |
This module extends Stage 2 level architectural design and communication skills by foregrounding experimentation. It is focused on developing students' familiarity with different approaches to architectural design experimentation and the processes that these entail. Students are asked to develop an approach to specific design themes based on the identification of problems, opportunities, sources, methodologies and inventive strategies. The module is offered in a number of parallel design studios that sustain the overarching pedagogical aims through varying and distinctive sub-themes. |
