The historical development and current features and practice of conservation within specific European countries.

Aims of course
1 To deepen the understanding of a particular topic in conservation, in relation to a specific European country
2 To develop strength in a particular area of conservation, related to a specific European country.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of a particular topic within international conservation, and the literature informing the topic.
2. Display ability to effectively carry out specific, field-based project work related to the topic
3. Display organisational, verbal and presentational skills appropriate to International Conservation History and Practice work.
