Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course students should be able to:-
&· Understand the Law of Intestate succession and be able to explain the implications
&· Draft Intestate documents
&· Draft testamentary documents and understand the tax implications of such documents
&· Understand the Law of Testate Succession and be able to explain the tax implications
&· Understand the law on Trusts, their uses and applications, and be able to explain their implications, including tax implications
&· Understand the law on incapacity as it applies to the field
&· Administer an executry
&· Understand tax implications
&· Understand the process of giving financial advice to companies and individuals, including the tax elements of this
&· Demonstrate professional ethics and standards
&· Interview
&· Demonstrate appropriate writing and drafting
&· Demonstrate professional communication
