This course is an in-depth examination of qualitative approaches, methods and issues looking specifically at their application in health related research. It includes narrative research, qualitative longitudinal and multi-perspective research, researching sensitive issues. online researching and different analytical approaches. The emphasis will be on advanced knowledge and practice. |

To provide students with an in-depth understanding of the application of qualitative research methods in the investigation of health related issues. To develop the student&©s awareness of different approaches to conducting qualitative research.
To examine both sustained and novel approaches in the field. |
