    For students without a strong maths background, Fundamental Mathematics for Geoscientists (GESC11008) will be compulsory. The Programme Director will meet with students to determine those who need to take the course.

    Notes:Fundamental Mathematics is compulsory for students with weaker numerical skills. Introduction to Geophysics and Introduction to Geology is compulsory for non-geoscience students. A booklet recommending appropriate course combinations will be available to facilitate advance planning.
