Year 1, Academic year 2011/12, Starting month: SeptemberPlease note that this degree has been replaced by the BSc Cognitive Science and the Degree Programme Table below is identical to that for BSc Cognitive Science. Students currently on this programme may transfer onto the BSc Cognitive Science programme or remain on this degree if they prefer. Students who started on this degree programme in session 2009/10 or earlier may be given concessions to take course combinations that were permissible under the Degree Programme Table in force in that session. Students on other degree programmes may not transfer onto this programme and should instead transfer onto the BSc Cognitive Science programme. |
Year 2, Academic year 2011/12, Starting month: AugustIn addition to passing all compulsory courses, entry to Honours requires a pass at 50% or above at the first attempt in modules totalling 60 points. These must include 20 points of the listed Informatics 2 courses, and 40 points from Linguistics 2A; Linguistics 2B; Mind, Matter & Language; Knowledge & Reality; or Psychology 2. Students taking Psychology 2 must also pass the combined mark of the statistics components of the degree exams. Entry to Honours may also be obtained by permission of the Head of School.
