The module consists of a series of lectures, site visits which feed into studio based projects
Aims of course
1 To introduce basic structural principles and to provide the opportunity for their application through the creative development and resolution of a detail design
2 To enable exploration of a range of materials, commonly used in landscape architecture, and to provide the opportunity for appropriate selection through the creative development and resolution of a detail design
3 To enable development of graphic communication skills and techniques

1. communicate the detailed design through the exploration, testing and selection of appropriate and clear graphic techiques
2. apply a knowledge and understanding of structural principles to the development of a design project
3. select, apply and test a variety of hard and soft materials in the the development of a detail design |
