Course description | Indicative course content
This programme element will extend your ability to analyse and critically investigate your theories and methods of making your work. You will be ebcouraged to develop and exhibit sculpture that responds both to the contemporary world and to current art practice and criticism.
Aims of course
1 To promote wide exploration, risk-taking and experimentation in the conceptualisation, production and presentation of your sculpture.
2 To develop your ability to initiate, organise and participate in exhibitions and events.
3 To enhance your ability to elucidate and strenthen your ideas and make innovative sculpture that contributes to the development of contemporary art.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Demonstrate an advanced ability to engage with a specific allocated space and install a work for effective discussion with your peer group and invited others.
2. Show and advanced ability to independently organise and participate in solo and or group exhibitions/events and to prepare and distribute related promotional material.
3. Show evidence of an evolving body of advanced art practice through a display and presentation of your work in progress to your peer group and an invited audience. |
