Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

Comment intelligently on politics and theology in the Byzantine Church from the later Patristic to the eve of the modern eras;
Analyse and criticise key primary source materials;
Engage in close reading of texts;
Display enhanced communication skills in a variety of media.

Assessment Information
Students will be assessed by end of semester examination (60%); Essay and one blog OR 3 blogs (30%), and participation (10%).
