    The dissertation project maybe carried out within the University of Edinburgh or SAC. However, students can also carry out their dissertation projects elsewhere in the UK or may go abroad. We require that the project is carried out within an active research group, appropriate resources are available and that the supervisor has been approved by the University of Edinburgh, but the location can be outside of the University of Edinburgh.
