Course descriptionIndicative course content
Students will further explore the creative potential of three dimensional form, considering issues such as installation and site, the use of appropriate materials and scale. Students may make maquettes as part of the process of visualisation and research.

Aims of course
1 To help students understand the interrelationship between the finished work and the critical thinking and research undertaken as part of its development.
2 To develop increased understanding of the technical and theoretical approaches to form and space and to foster sensitivity to the properties of materials in a given context.
3 To undertake a more considered approach to the ways in which the particular body of work covered in this module could be presented.

1. Display a considered approach to research and the development of an individual and original body of work.
2. Demonstrate a competent level of skills in the handling of a range of mixed media materials to further consider responses to surface, scale and geometry
3. Show competence and a considered approach to the selection and presentation of work for assessment at this level.
