Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
When students have successfully completed this course, they will have:
1. carried out detailed exegetical study of a set text from the Hebrew Bible in its text-critical, literary, historical, and theological dimensions;
2. improved their linguistic skills;
3. had practice in writing a substantial exegetical essay; and
4. gained a deeper understanding of part of the Hebrew Bible. |

Academic description |
Participants on this course engage in a close reading and exegetical study of a selected text from the Hebrew Bible. Particular attention is devoted to linguistic, historical, theological, and literary issues. |
