Course descriptionThe course will comprise study of a series of advanced topics and cases in marketing. The topics will be selected to illustrate contemporary and advanced applications of marketing principles covered in earlier courses. Sample topics include customer relationship management, customer and service innovation, electronic marketing, and co-branding strategies.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The course will enable the application of the principles and concepts obtained in the 2nd and 3rd year marketing courses through study of a series of advanced topics and cases studies in marketing. The course will extend the knowledge of the student and also enhance their analytical and synthetic skills. Transferable skills of presentation will also be enhanced.
Assessment Information
30% for three studies [10% each] submitted for assessment - each member of the group will receive the same mark for the group submission
10% for the presentation - graded on a group basis
60% for a written exam
