Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will:
1. identify the role of international business research in the discipline of business
2. understand the differences between quantitative and qualitative research methodology
3. be able to frame a study
4. know basics about research ethics and research materials
5. know how to plan and conduct data collection
6. be able to analyse interview data
7. know well the basics of case study research
8. be able to generate a good research proposal for dissertation |
Assessment Information
Assessment is 100% based on a 4,000 word research proposal.
In the proposal the students will:
1. Identify clearly their research question,
2. Critically evaluate the key literature that underpins this question,
3. Review the data collection and analysis methods selected
4. Present their chosen approach and the rationale for it. |
