Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Knowledge and Understanding
After successfully completing the course the student will
a) have a knowledge and understanding of how to run programs in a SAS environment,
b) have a knowledge and understanding of how to input and manipulate data in SAS,
c) have a knowledge and understanding of how to implement a range of estimation, routines and data summary routines using SAS.
Cognitive Skills
On completion of the course a student will be able to
a) Conceptualise the structure of estimation commands in standard statistical package
Professional/subject specific/practical skills
On completion of the course a student will be able to
a) input and manipulate data, so implement statistical analysis procedures and to output results in various forms using SAS.
Transferable skills
During the course a student will develop skills to
a)Use SAS to manipulate data and perform various statistical procedures for many empirical problems. |
