Course description | This post-introductory course is normally intended for students who have successfully completed Introductory Russian or have reached an equivalent standard (Standard Grade/GCSE). It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of Russian at Highers/A-level or above.
All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Following Introductory Russian, this course will further develop knowledge of the language in a wide variety of situations using more complex vocabulary and grammar. Students will further develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in Russian at a post-elementary to an intermediate level. |
Assessment Information
Coursework comprising of regular written exercises in class and two assessments worth 40%, and Degree exam at the end of the semester worth 60%.
All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination.
