| Course description | THIS COURSE IS FOR SPS STUDENTS ON THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DEGREE.
LAW AND JOINT LAW DEGREE students should take LAWS08114.
VISITING STUDENTS should take LAWS08114.
This course develops knowledge and understanding of (i) the international legal system; (ii) the main institutions which contribute to the development and application of international law; (iii) the legal rules, principles and processes which govern key areas of inter-state activity; (iv) the interface between international law and international relations |

Students from other schools and subject areas wishing to take international law as an outside subject are encourages to enrol for the International Law Ordinary (semester 1) course (LAWS08114). |
