Course descriptionThis course is an in-depth examination of qualitative approaches, methods and issues looking specifically at their application in health related research. It includes narrative research, qualitative longitudinal and multi-perspective research, researching sensitive issues. online researching and different analytical approaches. The emphasis will be on advanced knowledge and practice.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To provide students with an in-depth understanding of the application of qualitative research methods in the investigation of health related issues. To develop the student's awareness of different approaches to conducting qualitative research.
To examine both sustained and novel approaches in the field.
