Degree Programme Table: Law (PG ProfDev) (Part-time Intermittent) (PTPDVLAW001U)

Year 1, Academic year 2013/14, Starting month: September

  • Notes: It is possible to start the the Law (PG Professional Development) programme in September or January of the academic year.

The programme structure provides an opportunity for students to take individual 5- and 10-credit courses for credit. Any number and combination of courses can be taken from the programme collection (subject to their availability in given semesters).

Students can select individual courses which particularly interest them, and they will be given credit for these courses. On completion of 20 credits, students will be asked if they would like to use their credits towards the Postgraduate Certificate in Law. A maximum of 20 credits can be accumulated and transferred onto the Postgraduate Certificate programme.

The courses can be taken any point over the 2-year duration of the programme structure. At the start of each semester, the distance learning team will contact students to confirm if they are taking any modules in that semester, and if so, the necessary enrolment and administrative procedures will be followed. It may also be possible to extend the period of study, and students interested in doing so should contact the distance learning team for further details.
