Notes: Following the section on project work options, you will see that there are 3 sections containing History of Art Honours courses. The first section lists the pre-1500 courses, the second lists the 1500-1850 courses and the third section lists all courses. History of Art 3 students must choose AT LEAST ONE COURSE AND A MAXIMUM OF TWO COURSES FROM THE PRE-1500 LIST and AT LEAST ONE COURSE AND A MAXIMUM OF TWO COURSES FROM THE 1500-1850 LIST. They may also take up to a maximum of TWO COURSES FROM THE final list. Students must take 4 courses (80 credits) in total.
Over both honours years, and including the 4th year dissertation, students must take a minimum of 80 credits and maximum of 100 credits in self-directed study options.
Progression to Honours normally requires a pass (40%) in all courses taken in the first two years.
