Course description | This module is focused on extending students' capacity to operate with different approaches to architectural design. Students are asked to develop specific approaches to design problems in a coherent manner, deploying skills in architectural design and communication gained in earlier Stages. The module concentrates on developing architectural designs that integrate programmatic, formal, material, structural and budgetary considerations. The module is offered in a number of parallel design studios that sustain the overarching pedagogical aims through varying and distinctive sub-themes. Students produce coherent architectural designs of moderate complexity communicated with clarity and precision.
