| Course description | MLA Portfolio 3 is a complex major landscape design project. It allows advanced study in an specialized area of Landscape Architecture. It tackles problems/issues in the wider landscape and requires students to work at a range of scales over a significant area of landscape/townscape. It is a combination of group work and individual project work. |

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. apply appropriate theories, tools and techniques to explore the creative potential of different on-site fieldwork techniques
2. develop imaginative proposals in response to a set brief, for the development/rejuvenation of a large & complex site at a range of scales from landscape strategy to focused design intervention
3. apply time based strategies in the realisation of a complex project
4. work effectively as part of a group/team
5. clear communication of argument/design through graphical and verbal presentation |
