Course descriptionIndicative course content
Students will develop knowledge and practice in interdisciplinary construction techniques, drawing upon skills learnt in both design and sculpture based workshops, to plan and execute a single work or series of related works.

Aims of course
1 To further develop an understanding of the interrelationship between the finished work and the critical thinking and research undertaken in its development.
2 To investigate individual technical and conceptual approaches in mixed media construction.
3 To further develop skills in presentation and editing in the display of work made in this module.

Mode of delivery
Studio-Based, Demonstration, Email Assistance, Group Crit, Individual Mentoring, Review, Tutorial.

1. Display evidence of a developing originality and a personal language in finished work and the research which supports it.
2. Demonstrate a competence and confidence in handling and synthesising a range of mixed media materials.
3. Show competence and a considered approach to the selection and presentation of work for assessment at this level.
