To provide students with an understanding of the practices of science communication and public engagement.
To equip students with an understanding of the role of science communication and public engagement in contemporary society.
To explore the drivers which influence the practice of science communication and public enagement worldwide.
To introduce students to concepts, tools and methodologies used in science communication and public engagement. |

1. On-going contribution to discussion boards (40% of the total mark).
2. Essay on a choice of topics related to science ommunication practice (60% of total mark). |
