Course description | This post-introductory course is normally intended for students who have successfully completed Introductory Danish Language (ELCS07003) or have reached an equivalent standard (Standard Grade/GCSE). It is not suitable for absolute beginners or students with knowledge of Danish at Highers/AS-level or above.
All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will further develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in Danish. They will further develop knowledge of basic grammatical structures and of vocabulary. |
Assessment Information
Coursework comprising of two class tests (20% and 15%) and and homework excercises (15%). Final degree exam at the end of the semester (50%).
All students take all elements of assessment, including the examination. |
Special Arrangements
This course is open to all students. DELC students may only take this course if it over and above their full credit load, as in a non credit bearing course. |
