* Nature of EU External Economic Competence: exclusive, shared and concurrent powers; relationship between the EU and its Member States in the international economic field; mixed agreements.
* Institutional/Procedural Aspects: negotiation, conclusion and implementation of international agreements; status of international agreements in the EU legal order; adoption of unilateral measures.
* Substantive Scope of EU External Economic Competence: Common Commercial Policy, Development and Economic Cooperation Policies; external aspects of other EU economic policies (e.g. EMU, competition).
