Course descriptionThe four week attachment focuses on patient management in the community and at the hospital/community interface. Each student will be supported individually by a General Practice Tutor and other primary healthcare team members, and also benefit from case-based tutorial and project work.

To acquire the attitudes, skills and knowledge required to diagnose and manage patients in General Practice, in an effective and holistic manner.
Assessment Information
There are 2 components to the assessment in General Practice: Assessment by Practice Tutor, consisting of a standardised assessment of the attitudes, skills and knowledge students must display while in practice, and a patient study.
