Course description | Health economics applies economic thinking to the analysis of health and health care. If the findings from modern clinical trials are to be implemented into clinical practice the economic considerations much first be addressed. Thus, the design of any clinical trial that may have implications for clinical practice must include the essential components needed for a meaningful health economic analysis. This module covers the core topics of health economics. It is not necessary to have studied health economics previously to benefit from this module and it will complement a broad range of other options. |
