Course descriptionThe course involves an integrated approach to the structure and function of the human body at different levels of organisation. Using a combination of lectures, tutorials and practical sessions, it will cover aspects of pre and postnatal growth and development, histology of tissues and organs and their gross appearance as seen in the human body. Students will also be introduced to the structural and functional changes in cells, tissues and organs that underlie disease.
