Course descriptionThe course includes seminars, creative work, and practical workshops investigating educational and therapeutic methodologies for community music practice and research. The course is taught over the second semester.
Students take a supervised placement alongside the seminars for this course; this is organised, supported and assessed by the placements panel.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will continue to develop their personal creative resources while gaining understanding of different methodological approaches and furthering the skills required to design and implement imaginative programmes of community arts work for specific client groups.
Assessment Information
Individual Creative Presentation: 20%
Project Design (2500 words): 30%
Supervised Placement: 50%
