Course descriptionThe course will examine the potential benefits of Complementary approaches to both physical and psychological well being. Complementary therapies employed by all members of the multi-disciplinary team will be explored. Approaches taken will seek to reflect the growing use of these therapies in nursing.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Understand the role of all health care members of the multidisciplinary team in relation to the use of Complementary therapies.
- Explore pertinent clinical issues in both mental health and adult branch nursing in relation to the use of Complementary therapies.
- Have a critical appreciation of evidence-based practice of Complementary therapies
