Course description | In this course students undertake a short project in an area of interest (clinical or non-clinical). This course requires students to identify learning objectives (clinical or non-clinical) and the resources required to meet these objectives. The development of a structured learning contract facilitates the process. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The course aims to develop high level personal interest in understanding of the concepts of modern understanding of pain management with particular reference to a multidimensional and multidisciplinary approach to management. |
Assessment Information
This course is assessed by evaluation of the learning objectives developed in the submitted Learning Contract.
Key principles that will underpin assessment activities are evidence-based practice and the application of theory to clinical practice. The principles of constructive alignment will underpin all assessments and will ensure the assessment tasks are aligned with the specific course objectives, the content of the course and the teaching methods employed. |
