Course descriptionThis course aims to introduce students to cutting-edge research in contemporary epistemology. Students will attend meetings of the Epistemology Research Group (http://www.ppls.ed.ac.uk/philosophy/groups/epistemology-research-group).

Students will gain knowledge of some of the key issues in contemporary epistemology and will develop their skills at critical thinking.

Academic description Epistemology 2 is a required course for students taking the epistemology specialization for the MSc in Philosophy (taught). The course enables students a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research in epistemology, and to participate in the Epistemology Research Cluster in philosophy.
