| Course description | This core course will familiarize students with key theoretical approaches to politics and international relations. Several different analytical perspectives - rational choice theory, psychological approaches to politics and IR, historical institutionalism and social constructionism as well as critical theory, post-structuralism, feminism and postcolonial theory - will be introduced and applied to contemporary, real world problems. |
