Course descriptionTo provide an understanding of human individual differences, with a particular emphasis on (but not confined to) the theory, measurement and biological basis of personality and intelligence, and on the associations of individual cognitive and dispositional differences with behavioural and health outcomes.

Pre-requisites Students MUST have passed: Psychology 2 (PSYL08002)

To be able to critically discuss the current understanding of individual differences,including their biological basis, and the research evidence that supports this understanding.

To understand and be able to discuss how individual cognitive and dispositional differences are related to real-world behaviour, and to health outcomes.
