Course descriptionAfter revising the processes involved in producing individual words, the course considers the process of constructing longer utterances. It considers factors that affect the choice of grammatical form in isolated production, and then looks at the processes involved in language production in dialogue.

- To critically evaluate methods used to investigate language production
- To compare language production in monologue and dialogue.

Essay (3000 words) to be set by the course organiser and due 4pm Friday 13 December, Week 13.
Special Arrangements
