Aims of course
1 This course aims to facilitate a creative resolution of landscape design issues in an urban context with special reference to detail design, construction, functional organisation and user needs.

Additional Information (Assessment) Students must pass all learning outcomes. The aggregation of failed Learning outcomes with passing learning outcomes to generate an overall pass mark is not permitted. Failure of one learning outcome will result in a Forced Fail (FF) outcome. Students are permitted two attempts to pass this course.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. analyse & design in the context of urban renewal at scales ranging from masterplan to construction.
  2. demonstrate an advanced understanding of urban design principles evidenced in design proposals.
  3. apply methods of design specification to detailed proposals.
