|Summary||Indicative course content
Students will develop enhanced skills in working with materials from a range of applied art and design techniques, which may include jewellery, textiles and glass. Using drawing and other appropriate research materials, students will develop ideas for designing and making a piece or series of pieces.
Aims of course
1 To foster a developed understanding of the interrelationship between the finished work and the critical thinking and research undertaken as part of its development.
2 To develop more advanced techniques and methods in applied design.
3 To develop a considered approach to the ways in which a particular body of work covered by the module may be presented.
Mode of delivery
Studio-Based, Demonstration, Email Assistance, Group Crit, Individual Mentoring, Project, Review.
