Undergraduate Course: Gas Separations Using Membranes 5 (CHEE11022)

Course Outline
SchoolSchool of Engineering CollegeCollege of Science and Engineering
Credit level (Normal year taken)SCQF Level 11 (Year 5 Undergraduate) AvailabilityAvailable to all students
SCQF Credits10 ECTS Credits5
SummaryThis course complements other courses on CO2 capture, illustrating the role that membranes could play in the separation process. In addition to introducing transport phenomena in membranes and the different materials and properties, a brief overview of the module design will be considered. Several case studies will be illustrated to highlight the correlation between material properties and real applications.
