| Summary | Students must gain an overall pass of 50% or above in the coursework in order to proceed to dissertation. Students who gain between 40% and 49% in the coursework will be awarded the Diploma. 
 The dissertation will be 15,000 words in length (excluding the bibliography).
 
 Students will receive regular supervision and will be expected to submit a detailed plan and at least one draft of their dissertation to their supervisor.
