SummaryThis course provides an advanced exploration, analysis and application of the therapeutic relationship as conceptualised within the person-centred approach and psychodynamic perspectives with reference to students' own clinical practice. It examines current debates in counselling and psychotherapy, relating key contemporary conceptual and research themes and issues to the clinical work in which practitioners engage.
