Summary | This course runs for 3 hours per week throughout the year. Classes are a mixture of formal grammar lectures and seminars plus two hours of written and spoken language clases with native speakers. Since it is designed to cater for students wishing to continue with Catalan beyond 2nd year in a Modern Languages Degree, it is not simply a 'holiday' language course. Points of grammar will be covered on a weekly basis in a grammar class and these will be reinforced in small group spoken and written language classes with the intention of consolidating the student's proficiency in the 4 core skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. |
